Several Clinical Trials Still Go Unpublished

How many clinical trials are conducted throughout the world? indeed it is very difficult to answer such questions because information about all the clinical trials conducted reveled. Information regarding some clinical trial remains unpublished. Clinical trials are conducted to measure the efficiency of the drug. Are all the clinical trials that are on rolls showing the success rates? If that is the case, we would not have few diseases standing still in the line waiting for the advanced treatment according to changing environmental conditions. Clinical trials do end up in the failure. Research studies say that data related to less than half number of clinical trials is still left unpublished. The pharmaceutical companies block the data from getting published. These acts of pharmaceutical companies are raising the cost of ongoing clinical trials today. As the unpublished data remains secret in the records of the pharmaceutical companies, the new initiated clinical trials are running on the same wrong data again to know that it is failure. All the pharmaceutical companies should make it a practice to publish data about the clinical trial whether it is success or a failure. This will help the researchers to conduct the research on the other lines to bring out the success.
